About the Founder

With over a 20 years of experience in project management, team leadership, and technology-driven initiatives, Cheryl Fields brings a strong blend of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and people-focused leadership to the role.  Her career began with a hands-on internship at Soak Magazine, where she first developed a passion for technology and digital platforms.   From there, she played a key role in building the customer service and technical support department at HSA banking software company, leading technical support system implementations to scale with the growth of the company.   Further down the road of her career, at ShowingTime (now Zillow), she scaled a support team from 6 to 30 agents.  Cheryl embraced an Agile methodology, gaining her Scrum Master Certification.  She later expanded her project management skills at CDW, applying Waterfall methodology to IT initiatives.  At CDW her career highlights included: multiple data center implementation projects for a large casino, assisted in large scale implementation of smart board technology for Dallas ISD, assisted in an implementation of 325,000 computers distributed to students and teachers across Mississippi for the Mississippi Department of Education, and completed a router and switch refresh project 230 locations for a large bank.

Later in her career she was one of four PMs that managed cross-functional engineering teams delivering Medicaid systems across multiple states (TX, NM, & IL) at Health Care Services Corporation.

During this time Cheryl built websites for small businesses, building her expertise in WordPress website development.   Helping small business startups get their footing in the digital world.   This has turned into her passion.    

Cheryl Fields holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology Management from Lewis University (Romeoville, IL).  She is PMP Certified and Scrum Master Certified.  With over 20 years of complex project management experience and 7 years leading high-performing teams.   She has the ability to drive successful partnerships and implementations.
